Captain Mark Dixon has been flying for over 20 years in a variety of Small, Medium and Large aircraft. Currently, Mark is a member of the Transport Canada UAS Task Force and a Technical Team Lead Flight Operations with Transport Canada Civil Aviation, in the Toronto office; responsible for Airlines, Commuter, Air Taxi, Flight Training, Airports, Heliports, UAV’s, and Special Flight Operations. Mark has been involved with the implementation, and assessment of Airline Safety Management Systems for 15 years as a Government Flight Operations Inspector, and active in the UAS Files for the last 3 years. In his spare time he is an adjunct professor of Aviation Management at Seneca College in Canada, and a regular lecturer in the Aviation MBA program at Emirates University in Dubai. Mark holds an Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence he is a Pilot Examiner, Approved Check Pilot, Approved Check Dispatcher, and has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business in Canada.
